Police Report: Twin brothers that were kidnapped on February 12, 2019, from Madhya Pradesh were found dead in the Yamuna River of Uttar Pradesh.

 People protested about the incident after the news broke out, heavy protests were seen in the town of Satna, the local police had to deploy extra men to enhance the security measures inside the city.

The twin brothers were studying in kindergarten and were the sons of Brijesh Rawat an oil merchant, the twins were kidnapped by two masked men as they were riding their school bus while returning home, the kidnapping happened on February 12, 2019.

K P Tripathi the in-charge of the Chitrakoot Nayagaon Police Station said that the kidnappers did demand ransom money from Brijesh Rawat the father of the twins.

On Saturday night 2 dead bodies were found in the Yamuna River that was floating near the Baberu Village that is located in Uttar Pradesh. The bodies were later on recognized to be the twins that were kidnapped.

The dead bodies of the kids have been sent for an autopsy in a hospital at Banda.

The police have arrested 6 people that are linked in the kidnapping of the twins and killing them, Tripathi also said that a team has been assigned to investigate the case.

After the news broke out about the death of the twins, the locals started to close shops and other small or big businesses in the City.

Residents of the city burned tires on the streets and also vandalized some private properties in the City.

K P Tripathi the in-charge of the Chitrakoot Nayagaon Police Station said that they had to deploy additional policemen in order to keep balance in the city.

After the twins were kidnapped by the 2 men, the police department of Madhya Pradesh announced a bounty of Rs. 50,000 for those people who can give them information about the twins.

The police departments of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh both worked together to solve the case as Chitrakoot is a town that is located on the border of the two cities.

The 2 masked men were riding a motorcycle when they kidnapped the twins, they abducted the kids when the school bus was leaving the premises of the Sadguru Public School, the kidnapping happened on February 12, 2019.

Santosh Singh Gaur the Superintendent of the Satna Police Station said that the twins were residents of Ramghat in Chitrakoot Dham district of Uttar Pradesh. The twins used the school bus to reach the Sadguru Public School which is about 4km from their home.
