Remember the young and cute child actress Amrita Prakash from 2001 famous film ‘Tum Bin.’ It has been 17 years, and she has all grown up into a diva.



What really would surprise you, she started her career from a very young age of four years. She was already a very popular age by the time she did the film Vivah in the year 2006. Amrita Prakash featured among four newcomers trying their best to carve their niche in Bollywood, but she apparently became a household name after ‘Tum Bin.’

But all of these was possible for her, only after when she bagged her own show on Fox Kids on star plus. At the time she was 11 years old, and after that, she bagged few films in Bollywood and started to make some moves in Bollywood.

Apart from her career in Bollywood, she was a very popular face in the advertisement as well. She was in commercials like Pepsi in 90’s. Not just Pepsi, she was also the face of prominent brands like Rasna, Ruffles Lays, Glucon-D, etc. In fact, she was the face of Lifebuoy Soaps for almost two years!



‘Tum Bin’ featured four newcomers in Bollywood, including Amrita. However, among all of them, she was the one who made a mark and made her presence felt.

Starting her career at such a young age has trained her to be a fantastic actress, she is natural and has experienced more than most of the newcomers nowadays. After making a niche for herself in Bollywood, she has become quite a diva.

Her genuine acting has made her famous in South too. She is currently playing a supporting role in Colors TV’s acclaimed show Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.

With so much experience and so natural acting skills which developed in her from a very young age. She has captured a lot of attention, after being successful in South, she is all set to make more films in Bollywood.


Recently she confessed something about Priyanshu Chatterjee, she said. “I think he was my first crush; it was so cute and innocent. But I was so much in awe of him.”
