The story of a woman Constable in Hyderabad went viral on the social media as her heart of kindness takes over her selfishness. She takes it her responsibility to breastfeed a 2-month-old baby who was dumped outside a hospital. Priyanka was given maternity leave and rushed to the hospital where she was informed by her husband M. Ravinder, who is also a constable, about the helpless infant at the station. The infant kept crying of hunger. The cop arrived at the station just on time.

The Hyderabad police took the story to Facebook writing a post which read: “A woman who appeared drunk had left her baby to a man who was standing outside the Osmania General Hospital Hospital and promised to come back after a short while. It happened on 30th December, the previous year. The man waited for her to return but she never showed up.”

The man went to report the matter to Afzlgunj police station when he realized that the infant was helpless in his arms at around 11.30 pm. That was when Ravinder got moved with the situation of the infant and immediately ask his wife if she could be of help.

The baby girl was fed and taken to the Government Maternity Hospital called Petlaburz. The Infant reunited with her family on the evening before the New Year Day as a report by the police shows.

The act of kindness demonstrated by constable couples received much appreciation online.
