Tamil political thriller ‘Ko 2’ starring Bobby Simha and Nikki Galrani in the lead roles was released in theaters today (May 13). Written and directed by Sarath and produced by Elred Kumar, the film is a stand-alone sequel to the successful 2011 film Ko. Prakash Raj plays a CM of the state, while Bala Saravanan as a spoilt son of a powerful man. The film’s story is said to be inspired from Telugu movie ‘Prathinidhi’ and seems to have shades of Tamil Movie ‘Desiya Geetham’ released in 1998.

Ko 2 revolves around a man who kidnaps the chief minister of the state and the mystery over why he did so. It is a sequel to the 2011 hit film “Ko.” The film is inspired from the story of Telugu movie “Prathinidhi” and has shades of 1998 Tamil movie “Desiya Geetham.”

Prakash Raj is outstanding throughout. Nikki Galrani, who plays a journalist in the movie, has done a neat job. Bobby’s romantic scenes with Nikki and serious scenes with Prakash are the big highlights of the movie. Others artistes have also done justice to their roles.
