HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM Unveiled in India At Rs.19,990, Now Available for Purchase on Flipkart

HTC, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturing company has finally unveiled HTC Desire 828 smartphone for the Indian market. Out of the two handsets announced in the month of November, One A9 commenced its sale exclusively via Snapdeal couple of days back. Now, the news has arrived for the latter device, HTC Desire 828. As promised, the company has launched the smartphone in India which is now available for purchase on Flipkart at a price range of Rs. 19,990.

The handset will be available in two colour variants such as Dark Grey and Pearl White colours. Desire 828 is the first Desire-range handset that features OIS (optical image stabilisation) in the camera module.

Vignesh Ramakrishna, Director at the E-commerce portal, Flipkart said, “The portfolio of Desire smartphones by HTC has done extremely well in India. We are happy to launch the latest addition to this series exclusively on Flipkart. HTC unveiled the HTC Desire 828, a mid-range handset that becomes the first smartphone in its Desire series to feature Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The device sports a 5.5 inch Full HD display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 SoC processor clocked at 1.5 GHz which is paired with 2 GB of RAM. In terms of Storage, the smartphone includes an internal storage of 16 GB which can be further expanded up to 2TB via a micro SD card slot.

The HTC Desire 828 comes equipped with a 13 MP rear snapper with Optical Image Stabilisation unit on the back along with LED flash, OIS, BSI sensor. The smartphone also supports full-HD video recording. The device packs an UltraPixel unit on the front with a BSI sensor. The HTC Desire 828 is a Dual-SIM handset that supports 4G connectivity. The handset is power-packed by a 2800 mAh battery. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 5.1.1 operating system with HTC Sense UI loaded on top, unlike the HTC One A9 smartphone that runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The smartphone packs with usual sensors that include ambient light, accelerometer, compass, and magnetic sensors. On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes usual connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, Micro-USB and 4G LTE connectivity with support for Indian networks.
