Delhi’s bodybuilder Wasim Khan who represented India in recently concluded International Body Building Fitness Federation (IBFF) World Championship 2015 in Europe’s held recently on June 21 at Koper Slovenia, Sloveniarecently. He is now the only Indian to win two back to back overall IBFF titles, having won the title in Slovenia last year. Wasim Khan has become the first Indian bodybuilder to win two back to back overall IBFF titles. Last year he had won ‘Mr Universe’ title at IBFF event in Rome.

Wasim Khan has put nation on proud by winning three medals:

The event was organised on June 21st. The Indian team created history at the World Championships by winning four titles. Suresh Kadam who is the General Secretary of the IBBF said that it was the first time that in bodybuilding, that the Indian team had done not only well, but also won the most coveted title Mr World. All most all and near about 350 body builder from about 37 countries has participated in the event. Wasim Khan has put nation on proud by winning three medals.

Wasim Khan who had not only won the gold medal in his category, but also won the overall title in the World Championships. Wasim will be next aiming for Mr Olympia, which happens to be the most coveted title in body building. Suresh Kadam also believes that Wasim Khan has the potential to win the coveted title of Mr. Olympia.

Khan said, “I want to thank all my fans who always there for me in my tough times and Allah who gave me power to move forward to follow my passion (sic).” He specially thanked his wife who has supported him in that phase of his career when he was struggling. By winning the overall title in the World Championships, Wasim has made India really proud.
