CCTV Cameras In Dhaba: Now, All Dhabas Across Haryanvi District Must Install a CCTV Camera
Haryana states Rewari district comes up with one of the need of the hour and securely decisions which would leave the rest of districts and states of the nation to follow its path so as to control and keep an eye on the businesses which are happening in and around the pubic space.
Haryanvi District Insists Dhabas, Restaurants to Install A CCTV Camera
The Increase of crimes leaving the innocent victims to fall prey to brutal acts have been determined to be increasing in the recent times. The increase of crimes and law- breakings are throwing a challenge to the cops and the civilians to check and bring down them.
Thus to insure and keep in line law breakings and other crimes in the public spaces authorities in the Rewari Haryanvi district have directed all dhabas (roadside eateries) to install CCTV cameras. The last date to install the CCTV cameras was fixed as July 31, 2015 by which all the roadside eateries should have to install the new CCTV cameras which are capable of working during night hours or under low vision.
Dhabas and eateries which fail to do so would be confront and accept the local government actions for failing to enhance the security of their consumers and common people as per the details disclosed by the state government spokesperson. The spokesperson said “All dhaba owners would install good quality and night vision CCTV cameras in their dhabas by July 31 and report the same to police station in-charge of their respective areas. Strict action would be taken against dhabas which do not install CCTV cameras by that date.”
State government spokesperson of Haryana state asserted that that the move was aimed at keeping a tab on criminals and anti-social activities for the better security and preserving of rights of common people. He further added saying that “Quarrels over the quality of food or harassment of women often happen at dhabas. With the installation of CCTV cameras, Dhaba owners can ensure safety and security to people visiting the dhabas. The owners have been asked to inform police in case they find any suspicious person in their dhabas.”
Rewari district through which the busy national highway No.8 between Delhi and Jaipur passes along in southwest Haryana region has been selected for the initiation earlier while it is believed that further this objective of installing CCTV cameras would be implemented across all districts.
