They Did It Again! TOI Passes Off Kate’s Upskirt Picture As Front News
One of India’s oldest and most popular dailies, Times of India, never fails to disappoint when it comes to keeping up with its reputation of being a joke in the name of a newspaper.
It’s the Second Day Itch for Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s first trip together to India. While the royal couple enjoyed a windy visit to the country’s national war memorial in Mumbai Monday, the 34-year-old Duchess of Cambridge had a brief tug of war with the weather when the swingy skirt of her got caught in the wind.
As expected, the media was present to cover the event. TOI has done the best it could to take away focus from the whole point of why she was there, and shifted it to Kate’s skirt.
The headline of their lead story on Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton was ‘Kate’s Marilyn Moment at India Gate.’
It is shameful to see that in the somber moment when the Royal Couple from UK Prince William and Kate Middleton were paying their respects to the slain soldiers at India Gate, this is what The Times of India noted.
As if the headline wasn’t ridiculous enough, the caption accompanying the pic just took absurd to a whole new level.

This is not the first time TOI has done such things. Previously it had been in the limelight for reporting Deepika Padukone’s ‘cleavage show’ in September last year. The Bollywood actress had slammed them after which they deleted the tweet. It looks like they still haven’t learnt anything.
