Yuvraj Singh Disappointed With Chris Gayle For His Fastest T20 Half Century Record
Chris Gayle smashed a 12-ball fifty for Melbourne Renegades against Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League at MCG on Monday and equalled the world record set by India’s Yuvraj Singh 9 years ago. Yuvraj had set the mark in 2007 at the World T20 Championships in South Africa. Gayle scored a ferocious 56 runs in 17 balls including 7 sixes and a couple of fours to his name.
After Gayle’s brutal knock, Yuvraj Singh tweeted his disappointment and urged the left-hander to score in 10 balls next time. Yuvraj feels AB de Villiers can break his 12-ball 50 record.
I’m disappointed @henrygayle who got to fifty in 12 balls Kaka make sure u get it in ten balls next time ??or maybe @ABdeVilliers17 legends

While De Villiers did not respond, Gayle retweeted Yuvraj, contributing a few smileys.

The Indian left-hander will be hoping that Gayle and De Villiers accept the challenge and score a 10-ball half century!
Yuvraj Singh is currently preparing to join the touring Indian team in Australia. He has been named in the Indian squad that will play a three-matche T20I series against the hosts.
