State Election commission of Kerala has successfully conducted the BI election for the constituency of Aruvikkara in the district of Thiruvananthapuram on 27th June, 2015 (Saturday) across 153 polling stations in kerala. Kerala Aruvikkara Legislative assembly constituency BI Election 2015 Vote counting Result to be announced today on June 30, 2015. It is known that 77:35% polling was recorded on Saturday.
Counting of Kerala’s Aruvikkara by-election began at 8:15 am at Sri Swathithirunal College Of Music on 30th June, 2015 (Tuesday). KS Sabarinathan (UDF), M Vijayakumar (LDF), O Rajagopal (BJP) are the major candidates from major political parties who had given nomination for this election. Mr. Rajagopal would find it an uphill task since the fight is now clearly between the CPI(M) and the Congress. Each and every vote is going to be valuable.
The Aruvikkara result will not have any impact in the short term because there is less than 11 months left for the current Assembly term to get over. But it could be a game changer for the State’s politics in the long term.
