Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat State, India has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during her visit to China while leading a delegation from the state. The historical understandings between the nations have been signed aiming for the mutual benefits in the presence of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and the mayor of the Ahmedabad, Gujarat state Minaxiben Patel were present when the agreement was signed.

Gujarat State government recent details officially disclosed that the ‘Mahatma Gandhi National Institute of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship’ (MGNISDE) would be set either in the Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar while the exact place for the establishment of the premier institute would be finalized by the top administration.  Added to this ,the higher authorities of the state also said that the GIFT city in Gujarat and Shenzhen in China were identified as pilot smart cities to initiate cooperation in the development of smart cities. Gujarat State chief minister Anandiben Patel tweeted on twitter that “Glad to share that India and China have signed an agreement to set up an institute of skill development and entrepreneurship in Gujarat.”
