Epic and fabled love monument in India’s heart Taj Mahal was appalled with bizarre murder pact. Two lovers sliced up their throats after being rejected by their families in the premises of the iconic symbol of love, Taj Mahal. Tourists and the bystanders who had witnessed the eccentric event of two soul mates on Wednesday afternoon they were out at the Taj Nature Walk, metres away from the monument of love.

Monument of Love, Taj Mahal is Bloodshed by Bizarre Murder

Tourists and the bystanders who witnessed the bloodbath of the both individuals, a young boy and the girl were left dismayed initially while they have been to their rescue later. The duo were identified as the Muslim girl Shabnam Ali from Karbala in Agra and the Hindu boy Rajveer Singh, 25, a resident of Dehradun. Shabnam Ali who was in light blue jeans and a dark blue top was turned red with blood holding the hand of her soul mate was turned red with blood while Rajveer Singh himself was struggling with the pain, tried to calm her, doctors said, fearing for the worst.

Both Rajveer and Shabnam Ali were reported to be in love with each other since a long time while their families were believed to be opposing to accept their relationship. Both the young couple were identified by the guards in the Taj’s vicinity in a pool of blood that an alarm went off and they were rushed to the hospital in an official’s car.  Divisional forest officer rushed the couple to the SN Medical College hospital where their medical status is being declared by the hospital doctors to be critical.

Rajveer Singh, stated to the magistrate MP Singh, who went over to record the statement of the lovers stated that they had to take the drastic step in utter frustration. Rajveer who was barely able to speak said that “Both Shabnam and I tried hard to convince our parents that they should allow us to get married, but the boundaries of religion remained the biggest hurdle. We did this after failing at all possible ways to be together. We couldn’t get our respective parents to meet each other, even getting spiritual leaders and relatives to intervene didn’t help.”

Girl’s relatives who reached the hospital on hearing the news reported that the doctors that they were willing to get the two married  but it was just the Rajveer Singh was unemployed made them to think over rubbishing the Rajveer Singh’s statement.  Police officials who were probing the murder row of the by evening, though, police said they were all set to lodge an FIR of the suicide attempt to murder against the two of them.
