Baahubali, one of the most awaited movie released on July 10th of this year has swept all major Indian film industry’s record glorying and gearing up new standards in Indian cinema. Movie makers of Baahubali and the man behind the magnum opus flick has SS Rajamouli has confessed at last that he copies most from most of the Hollywood movies for his upcoming ventures.

SS Rajamouli Confesses That He Copies From Hollywood Movies

Though there were speculations and hearsays about the bestowed director of Tollywood that Baahubali would be another 300 movies, inspired by Hollywood movies while SS Rajamouli denied them initially while has admitted them now. Does that sound strange? Then you ought to know more.

Addressing to the students of the IIT Madras in the Student Activity Center (SAC) auditorium in IIT-M, Chennai, Rajamouli said, “Yes, I copy from Hollywood movies. It’s obvious and most of you know that“. This bitter truth for many of the Tollywood fans and followers of the ace director has been reported to have disclosed when during the session at IIT Madras as a student asked if Hollywood movies ‘inspired’ him to for any scenes in Baahubali.

Responding to the students query, the man behind the blockbuster movie Baahubali, SS Rajamouli said, “He’s being very respectful. The actual question is Do you copy from Hollywood? The answer is, Yes, I do.But I haven’t copied from any of my contemporaries. I never he never felt it was wrong to copy as I grew up in the industry.“

Venue of the session at IIT Madras echoed with applauses and claps of students and the guests upon being ascertained with the brave confession of SS Rajamouli. The highly raved director of Indian cinema, SS Rajamouli further added, “When I was an assistant director most of my fellow assistants weren’t good enough in English and they didn’t watch English movies. During the story sitting, if I narrate a scene from Hollywood movies, the others will believe and say, ‘Hey, this guy has a lot of creativity‘” defending his confession on copying from Hollywood movies.
