Baahubali Comics First Look Released: Launch Photos, HD Images, Animations
The ‘Baahubali’ production team ‘Arka Mediaworks’ has teamed up with leading character entertainment company Graphic India to expand the world of ‘Baahubali’ across all media formats including comic books, novels, animation and gaming.
On 3rd February 2016, the production company has released the first look poster of the ‘Baahubali Comics,’ which was designed by Graphic India. SS Rajamouli unveiled the graphic posters of the characters – Baahubali and Bhallala Deva.
The graphic novel will be based on the filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s 2015 historical fiction drama “Baahubali: The Beginning” and will unravel stories of the characters which could not be shown in “Baahubali.’
The makers of “Baahubali” revealed the news on the official Twitter page of the movie. “They tweeted: Happy to be associated with GraphicIndia to explore the Baahubali universe in a whole new way – Comics, animations, games and many more! Baahubali Comics – Our first offering to the fans from the world of Baahubali. Check out the first look (sic)”

Extending the World of Baahubali beyond movies allows us to reach a larger audiences and that is really exciting for me. We are happy to be collaborating with Graphic India who I believe have the best knowledge and experience in this space,” said director SS Rajamouli.
“The epic storytelling and groundbreaking visuals that SS Rajamouli created have captivated millions of fans, including myself, and the future of Indian cinema shall now always be defined as ‘before Baahubali’ and ‘after Baahubali’,” said Graphic India CEO and co-founder Sharad Devarajan. “It’s exciting for us to come in and unlock all these mediums, such as comics, animation games for the film.”
A couple of months ago, SS Rajamouli raised a wee bit of suspense and excitement among Baahubali fans when he revealed that the world of Baahubali will be extended beyond 3 parts and in ways nobody could even think of.
These comics and animations are definitely a great tool to increase the hype and excitement for Baahubali: The Conclusion, which is due for a release next year. Graphic and Arka are also working on a larger animated project, tentatively titled, Baahubali: The Lost Legends.
